The Japanese company Sony has patented a gamepad for the PlayStation 5 game console. The main difference from the previous model is the disappearance of the light panel from the back of the manipulator. It is assumed that it was replaced by sensors.
Sony’s new controller has a USB connector and an enlarged input device designed to control the cursor. The Share and Options keys have saved their location on the game pad. The developers placed a rectangular panel and two connectors of unknown purpose at the bottom of the gamepad. Compared with its predecessors, the manipulator has increased in size and changed shape.
Experts expect the release of the Sony PlayStation 5 game console in the last quarter of 2020. The console will receive support for ray tracing, SSD-drive and 4K Blue Ray – a format that provides greater resolution in horizontal and vertical directions. It makes the image better, but increases the “weight” of the video. Official sources have not yet unveiled the cost of a new game console.
