An explosion at a petrochemical plant in Spain's autonomous Catalonia region has killed at least one person and injured several.
The blast, south of the port city of Tarragona, set off a huge fire. Officials say it was probably sparked by a chemical accident.
Dozens of firefighters are tackling the blaze in La Canonja municipality.
The explosion happened at 18:40 local time (17:40 GMT).
The dead person was found in a collapsed building. Two of those injured people had serious burns.
Catalonia's civil defence agency advised residents of the city with a population of 800 thousand people to stay at home with closed doors and windows. It is specified that there are no signs of a toxic cloud.
