Chinese scientists conducted a study whose results proved that drinking green tea can increase life expectancy. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
For seven years, experts monitored the health status of about 100 thousand people in China and found that those who regularly drank green tea reduced their risk of problems with the cardiovascular system by 25%. Also, lovers of this drink live, on average, 1.26 years longer than those who do not drink green tea.
Researchers also emphasized that only green tea has a positive effect on health, but black tea did not have such properties. The fact is that the composition of green tea includes antioxidants that prevent the aging of body cells. Also, these natural substances prevent the development of cancer cells and regulate blood sugar levels.
