Historically valuable lanterns disappear from the Fomin Botanical Garden

In the Alexander Fomin Botanical Garden in Kiev, electric lights installed in the 1890s disappeared. This was reported in his Facebook account by user Vladimir Khengistov.

It is known that the lights were installed by the Savitsky and Ostrich company, which was the first to equip Kiev with electric lighting.

After the reconstruction, valuable for residents of the capital lanterns were replaced by new, modern green lampposts.
