At CES 2020, Samsung and its experimental development division presented the Neon project. The technology allows you to create virtual avatars.
A virtual creature created using computer computing that looks and behaves like a real person with the ability to show emotions and intelligence.
STAR Labs CEO Pranave Mistri describes Neon as a “new life." Each avatar can be generated for a specific task and is able to respond to requests in a few milliseconds. It is assumed that in the future Neon use as TV presenters or actors.
The generation of the new avatar is “fundamentally different” from Deepfake and other technologies for creating human species. In this Neon helps a proprietary software product called Core R3.
Samsung does not disclose the technical aspects of Neon.
