A new diesel train running from the main passenger railway station of the capital Kiev-Passenger to the international airport "Borispol" on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 7, could not reach its destination.
Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the train that the company received at the end of December from the Kryukovsky Car Building Plant “made an emergency stop” at about 13:30 near the Demievskaya station. Passengers were transplanted to another train.
“The railroad workers made every effort to prevent passengers from being late for the plane,” the company said.
Ukrzaliznytsia has already begun negotiations with the plant.
“An investigation will be conducted into the case and appropriate claims will be put forward to the manufacturer,” the company said.
According to "Ukrzaliznytsia", we are talking about technical malfunctions of the composition.
At the end of December 2019, Ukrzaliznytsia received a new train of Ukrainian production, which should run to the Borispol airport. According to the head of the company, Yevgeny Kravtsov, there are 3 wagons in the train, it is inclusive, environmentally friendly, designed according to European standards and can carry up to 470 passengers per flight.
