The negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on gas in Vienna, which began on Thursday and went all weekend, will continue on December 30 afternoon. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to RosZMI.
Late on Saturday, the Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev said that there was some progress in the negotiations, but there are currently no agreed texts of agreements - “the struggle is for every comma.” On Sunday evening, Gazprom announced the arrival in Vienna of the meeting place of the partners of the management of the companies responsible for signing the prepared documents. The final approval of the package of documents was expected in accordance with the protocol of December 20. The Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuka, authorized to sign a settlement agreement with Gazprom of the fine of the Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU), published a photo that testified to the signing of documents under the Minsk gas protocol.
“On Monday night this news was not continued, the development of events is expected on the afternoon of December 30,” the message said.
Earlier in the Russian Federation, it was stated that a compromise with Ukraine on gas was a difficult choice.
