Today, November 30, the draw of the final tournament of the European Championship 2020 will take place in Bucharest. The official ceremony begins at 19:00 Kiev time.
The draw will involve teams that won first and second places in 10 qualifying groups, as well as four winners of butt matches, which will be held in March 2020.
Sowing baskets at the Euro 2020 draw:
Basket 1: Belgium, Italy, England, Germany, Spain, Ukraine
Basket 2: France, Poland, Switzerland, Croatia, Netherlands, Russia
Basket 3: Portugal, Turkey, Denmark, Austria, Sweden, Czech Republic
Basket 4: Wales, Finland, four butt play winners
All teams will be divided into six groups of four teams. It should be noted that those host countries of Euro 2020 that entered or will reach the final part of the tournament were distributed in advance into groups.
The national team of Ukraine in the final part of Euro 2020 will play with the Netherlands team in group C. The quartet will compete in Amsterdam and Bucharest.
At today's draw, Ukraine will recognize the opponent from the third basket. The choice will be made of five teams: Portugal, Turkey, Austria. Sweden and the Czech Republic. Recall that Denmark from the third basket will go to group B as the host country of the Euro.
An opponent of the Ukrainian team from the fourth basket will be determined in 2020, after the butt games are played. Andriy Shevchenko’s team will get the Romanian team if it turns out to be the strongest on the way A.
