Tragedy: Istanbul found Syrian savior dead!

The death was discovered by an employee of a local mosque around 4am and immediately called the police. It is known that James' house was not far away.

The Turkish media reported that the body was found with fractures of the legs and skull, but the attack was or not - not established.

He was one of the few people who really influenced the humanitarian situation in Syria. " Mr Bretton-Gordon assured that the work of the James White Helmets organization would continue in its mode.

White Helmets is a team of volunteer rescuers that emerged in 2012 and is officially known as the Syrian Civil Defense. According to unofficial reports, they have rescued tens of thousands of people during the conflict in Syria. And, directly, the founder of the organization, James Le Mézier, who was a former British military, was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2016. The same year, the organization was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
