On October 17, the Presidential Office opened the exhibition “Icons on the Boxes from the Bottoms”. This exhibition presents not only images depicted on boxes of ammunition brought from the area of OOS, but also photographs of the first volunteer hospital named after Mykola Pirogov.
The exhibition was opened by Yulia Mendel, Press Secretary of the President of Ukraine and Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Anna Kovalenko.
“During the war, volunteers provided skilled medical care to tens of thousands of military personnel. When civilians work on their own initiative in the area of the CAB, coordinate with the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, it is a story about the interaction and value of human life. It is about a drive to self-organization and a desire to help in emergencies. The dedication of the project participants is impressive and deserves great respect, ”said Anna Kovalenko.
"Icons on the Boxes from the Bottoms" is an art project by Kyiv artists Sophia Atlantova and Alexander Klimenko, which aims to support the activity of Mykola Pirogov's First Volunteer Mobile Hospital.
"Now the project has come to the President's Office, and it is a great honor for us to have been invited here," said the artist.
